I’m an unusual combination of teaching artist, performer, and public administrator. I earned a Masters degree in Public Administration from the University of Arizona and have worked in nonprofit fundraising and administration for as long as I’ve performed and taught taiko. Most of that has been in the arts, including time spent as the co-director of an arts and education nonprofit I co-founded. In an industry where a good grant-writer gets funded about 40% of the time, my grant-writing success rate is around 70%, resulting in millions of dollars raised. Contact me to inquire about grant writing and other contract work.
